"The artists presented in this exhibition create works in response to words – words from stories, news and events. Some of Australia’s top illustrators; Sara Acton, Bronwyn Bancroft, Freya Blackwood, Sarah Davis, Kim Gamble, Gus Gordon, Leunig, David Lovegrove, Cathy Wilcox and Rocco Fazzari are exhibiting their original artworks. The exhibition explores the varying degrees to which artists have remained committed to traditional drawing media and also embraced new digital technology to express their ideas. "

I'll be exhibiting the models used to create some of my sculptural illustrations, oil paintings from Mending Lucille, tissue collages from Toucan Can! and acrylics from Fearless to demonstrate the different techniques I've used in response to the unique qualities of each story.
