There are many ways to create believable, three-dimensional characters when telling a story - but this is how cheating illustrators do it!
When I illustrated Sounds Spooky, I built three dimensional dioramas and models of all the characters, and used photography and digital manipulation to create the final images. In this hands-on modelling workshop I will show you how to create your own expressive character using sculpey polymer clay and recycled materials, and we will discuss the principles of producing three dimensional illustrations.
Book quickly, because places are limited to 20 - although if there's enough interest we may also run it on the Sunday
