On Saturday 26 October, Berkelouw Books will welcome nine of Room to Read’s Writer Ambassadors to its stores around Sydney, in support of this global nonprofit’s  mission to bring literacy to millions more children across Asia and Africa.  The Berkelouw family has been book traders for six generations and their passion for books persists.  Robert Berkelouw is enthusiastic about hosting Room to Read’s ‘Booktober’ events in his stores: “We love bringing authors and families together – authors keep children engaged with reading and bring books to life.” The seven book stores will host nine authors and donate a percentage of book sales from the events to Room to Read. “This is our opportunity to take action so that all children around the world get the opportunity to learn to read,”
