Launch of the Sugar Plum Fairy!

On the 6th of June, Sue Whiting and I were mobbed by a flock of fairies at STICKY in the Rocks, Sydney, to launch our new book Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. It was an afternoon of glue and glitter, candy and craziness, toffee twirling and tale-telling, and a bunch of tired sticky fairies went home happy, if a little sugar-crazed. Thanks to STICKY for their generosity. general awesomeness, and YUMMY SWEETS! They put on a display of candymaking which was true performance art. They made us our own little sweets with "Sugar Plum" written inside them. You should SEE how they get the words inside the lollies - it's like magic.  The Sugar Plum Fairy couldn't have done a better job. Thanks so much to everyone who came - it was really lovely to see you all there! (Especially those of you who thrust cups of coffee into my hand every so often ... you know who you are!)
