I'm on the shortlist!

It's hard to believe, but I already ate the celebratory pizza and drunk the celebratory champagne, so it must be true!  I'm one of 6 illustrators that made the Children's Book Council of Australia shortlist for the Crichton Award for best new illustrator 2009. Woohoo!

Congratulations to everyone who made the shortlist for Book of the Year and Notable books as well. Good luck, everyone!  Now, stop reading this and go and purchase some of the fine books on those lists. (Especially mine, of course!)
