Sacrifice

I stayed up far too late last night doodling, and this little guy evolved from a sketch of a 3 day old baby panda I found in a National Geographic. I know it's a bit strange - but so are baby pandas. I'm feeling a bit pessimistic because I just found out that one of my best friends is trapped in Beirut with her 3 young kids, and picturing them where the bombs are falling got me thinking about all the vulnerable, lovely little pink squishy things that are so often sacrificed for the sake of power or profit. So this one goes out to all those fragile little lives out there....
