Illustration Friday: Peace

I've had so little peace recently, what with work and christmas chaos, that I'm resorting to posting old sketchbook pages...
Here are a couple of 2000 year old chinese figurines which I sketched in a museum in New Zealand. I think they radiate peace - plus the kids were off playing with their cousins and their Drunkle Matty in the Children's discovery area, so I had a nice peaceful time drawing these. The patterns are also from ancient chinese artefacts.
