Fearless Workshop

What’s covered:

A behind-the-scenes look at the process of illustrating the Fearless books, and how the character of Fearless was created. See working drawings, original paintings, and a say hello to a soft toy version of Fearless.

Learn how to draw expressive animal characters that show real emotions and personality.

 “Pick a Puppy!”
Students will be provided with an A3 template of a dog adoption agency, and Sarah will guide them through drawing and naming an assortment of dogs with individual personalities and fun physical characteristics.

Collaborative Drawing 
As a group, students will invent a story about a dog and direct Sarah while she produces a ten minute pastel drawing, which will be donated to the school.

Students will need:

  • A sharp pencil and an eraser
  • A4 paper
  • Clipboard, deskspace or floorspace to lean on.

Sarah will need:

  • A smartboard or dataprojector with sound
  • A microphone
  • A whiteboard
  • A private room/library/hall with space for students to spread out and draw
